Curriculum
Preschool Chinese Immersion Program
Children in our immersion program learn common daily expressions in Chinese in a fun and interactive environment. We expose children in our program to Chinese culture too. Children are taught primarily in Chinese once they attain a basic understanding of the language, and begin to read and write some simple Chinese characters and phrases when they are older.
Summer Camps
The goals for the summer camps are to promote fun learning in Chinese, to review what they have learn before, to enhance their knowledge about China. Students will be grouped according to their Chinese levels. They will learn various subjects in Chinese according to their levels. They will also learn to read and write some Chinese characters and sentences. For the highest level, short essays in Chinese will be introduced. The Chinese pinyin system will be reviewed. There will be a lot of fun activities also integrated in the camp, such as Chinese yo-yo, Chinese folk dance, Chinese Kung Fu, Chinese traditional sport activities.
Each camp will cover different subjects and will have a different thematic play each camp. Each camp also offers different Chinese culture crafts, such as Chinese paper cutting, origami, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese water painting etc.
